This painting shows an athlete slam dunking a basketball . This was an interesting painting to me because i play basketball. The slam dunk is something only certain players with athletic capabilities can perform. It can be a game changer or a momentum shifting play in a basketball game and is the easiest way to get 2 points. I am always fascinated when i see an opponent perform a fancy slam dunk in a game and that can also be a game changer or game breaker. The athlete here is ablove the rim giving him an advantage over the opposing defenders.
