Landscape at Eragny

Camille Pissarro - Landscape at Eragny

This watercolor really caught my eye. I love that it's a landscape you can clearly see, but it is made up of dots. Camille Pissarro spent most of his career painting landscapes in rural and urban France. Some even call him the "Father of impressionism." What really interesting is that his great-grandson is currently the Head Curator of Drawing and Painting at the MoMA.
